Let's Party (Part 3)

Here are the girls with their finished pots. We planted flowers in them and then tied a bow around them for the finishing touch. Don't mind Hallie, she was trying to feed Sadie some crackers.

After the pizza eating and pot painting, the girls played outside for a little while. Then they came inside to make ice cream Sunday's. Let me tell you, these girls know how to build Sunday's. I bought a pint of vanilla ice cream, a huge package of sprinkles (probably 2 cups worth,) toppings and a can of whipped topping. They finished off the ice cream, the sprinkles and the whipped topping. They sure did look yummy, but not one of the girls ate the whole thing. I think half the fun was in building them.
Look at that bowl of ice cream. Don't tell me your mouth isn't watering.
Hallie loved hanging out with the girls. She thought she was big just like them.
Abbi thought she was so funny with her face all covered in chocolate/carmel/whatever else was on that Suday. After Sunday's they went and played in Abbi's room, or should I say "giggled" in Abbi's room. Girls are so fun and I'm so lucky to have 2 of them!

Let's Party (Part 2)

I think Hallie may grow up to be an artist. I have never seen her this entertained for so long. She was so cute and her pot turned out darling.

Let's Party

Abbi wanted to have a couple friends over for the last night of school. We had so much fun. First we took them to The Pizza Factory.
Calle, Abbi, Angel, Meaghan
Hallie and Mom
Abbi wanted to paint flower pots and plant a flower in them, so after pizza we did that. Hallie even got in on the action!

They were all so cute with their pots. They took tons of time getting them just right.

End of Year Scrapbook

This year I made a little scrapbook for Abbi to take to school to have people sign (since her school decided to do a DVD in lieu of a yearbook this year.) It tuned out way cute. I made it with one of Stampin' Ups Simply Scrappin' that I got from my awesome friend, Tiffany. It was so fun to see what her teacher and the secretaries at the school wrote and also all the kids from her class signatures. We also got her a disposable camera to take. It was fun, and also hilarious, to see what she took pictures of. So when she brought it home today we went and got the pictures developed and put it all together. She was very excited about it all. In the book I left places for her to write her favorite memories of 1st grade which she hasn't filled in yet, but I'm so interested to see what she writes. I think I will do this for her every year. She loved it and I loved that it was made partially by her.

The End of The School Year

It's the end of the school year and it always makes me a little bit sad. Next year my little Abbi is going to be in 2nd grade. 2nd grade, can you believe it. Every morning for the entire school year, my neighbor's (hi Kristie) little girl Alley has been so nice to come walk Abbi to school. They also walk with another little boy named Caiden. These 3 cuties were heading off for school the 2nd to the last day of school so I decided to whip out my camera and take their picture. I'm very excited for the summer. I love to spend time with Abbi, she is such a joy and a great helper to me with her little sister.

Isn't She Lovely

Abbi had her dance pictures today and she looked so cute. We did her make-up and put sparkles all over her. She loves her costume because it has her 2 favorite colors.

Rain, Rain Go Away (or stay a little while longer)

Jeff and Hallie were outside when it started to rain a little bit. He grabbed an umbrella and let her play in it. He called me on his cell phone (I was in the house) and asked me to hurry and bring my camera. I came outside to find this little cutie loving every minute of the water hitting the ground.
Don't mind the jammies. This morning when we were doing her hair I asked her if it was time to get dressed and she said, "No, I want jammies." So we went with jammies today.

It's been one of those days where it's sprinkled on and off all day and the sun has been shining, but it's still raining. I love it when that happens.

I love this little girl so much. I can't believe that she will be blowing out her 3rd candle on her birthday cake in less than a month. She's growing up way too fast.

Cupcake

I thought this was kind of cool. I was going through my links on my sidebar and clicked on Mini's Cupcakes and was looking at pictures of all the yummy cupcakes on the website. Really I'm trying to get my cupcake fix without actually eating a cupcake. I clicked on her photo gallery and there we are. Me and my girls went up there a few months ago and the owner took pictures of us. She has put them up on the website, so check them out.

Time for a Time Out

I just thought I would post a couple of pictures of where Hallie has been spending lots of time lately, on time-out. I call her my little bi-polar baby because she can go from zero to ornery in about .2 seconds. Monday morning we went to the greenhouse to buy flowers and vegetables to plant. There was a cute old guy there who asked me how much for my little flower girl in the wagon. I told him that right now he couldn't pay me a million bucks for her because she was being such an angel, but to ask me again in about 2 minutes because it would probably change where I would pay him to take her off my hands. I guess that's how most toddlers are. She's a sweetheart most of the time, but boy can she be a sassy little thing.
She was totally mad at me for taking her picture.

Our Trip To California

I think most of you know that we have been in Disneyland for a week. We went with my mom and dad, my brother, Cody, and my sister, Kristen, and her boyfriend, Weston. It was so much fun. I tried posting all of the pictures, but there were way too many so I decided to do a slide show instead. I'll just start from the beginning. Friday at about 2:30 we jumped in a huge van and drove down to Primm, Nevada to spend the first night. We stayed at Buffalo Bills. It was a very cute hotel and very cheap. They have a huge rollercoaster there that goes in and out of the hotel that we went on. It was Abbi's first roller coaster ever. She was barely tall enough to go. It scared her to death. She kept saying, "I'm scared, this is fun, but I'm scared." I have to say that I was pretty scared as well, but we all survived. The next morning we woke up and drove to California. It took about 2 1/2 hours. Then we checked into our hotel and went to Disneyland. It was lots of fun. Abbi loved Tower of Terror the very most and rode it 5 times. She was scared the first couple of times, but then loved it. Hallie loved everything that she was able to go on. I think we rode just about everything there was to ride since we went to Disneyland 6 days total. Jeff and I loved everything. It was fun for both of us to watch our kids have so much fun.
We also went to the Wild Animal Park in San Diego. It was very cool and I would totally recommend going. They have a petting zoo that my kids loved. It was a bit cold that day, but fun just the same. It was nice because the animals were out and pretty active. We also spent an afternoon at the beach. I don't love the beach, but this time was very fun. It was so warm the day we went. We had fun playing in the water and in the sand. Hallie was hillarious. She would go out in the water and barely stick her little tosies in and then when the wave would come, she would run away and then run back and do it all over again. Abbi had fun drawing messages in the sand for us to read. My little sister Kristen met this guy out in the water that showed her how to body surf. She got pretty good towards the end. We even saw dolphins jumping out in the ocean. It was very cool.
My dad, Jeff, Cody and Weston went to a Dogers game Sunday afternoon. The girls attempted to find the Orange County Swap Meet to no avail. Little did we know we were very close. We just could never find the place. Instead we went on what we like to call "The Circle of Fun." We also went in search of a Pink Berry that took us half a day to find. But we saw lots of cool scenery on the way. We drove to Laguna and drove along the coast which was very cool. We finally found a Pink Berry that was totally worth the time spent to find it. For those of you who don't know what Pink Berry is, it's frozen yogurt that is out of this world good. Unfortunatly they are only on the West and East coasts, so if you go to Cali soon, make sure to visit.
All in all we had a great time and I can't wait to go back. Jeff's parents just told us that they are planning a trip in October 2009 to Disneyland and I'm already saving my pennies. But secretly I'm hoping to go one more time before then. I have to talk Jeff into it, though.

6 More Things About Me

I have been tagged by Chelsey to post 6 random things about me. And believe it or not, in addition to the 100 things about me posted below, I have thought of 6 more, 'cause I'm kind of conceited like that. So here goes.
1. I love a good, cheap pizza. Seriously the cheaper the better it tastes to me. I love those frozen ones at Macey's that you can get for like 4 for $10. I really love Little Caesar's because it kind of tastes like the box it comes in.
2. Doing my kids hair and picking out their clothes every morning is one of my favorite things to do. It gives me anxiety to think of what I'll do when they are old enough to pick out clothes themselves... seriously I have sweaty palms right now.
3. When I was a little girl I thought it would be awesome to be a garbage man. You know back in the day when there were 2 at a time and one would get to hang off the back of the truck and jump off and throw the garbage in the truck; that was my dream. I used to go grocery shopping with my mom and hang off the cart and pretend I was a garbage man.
4. My favorite flower is a daisy.
5. If I believed in reincarnation and could choose what to come back as, I would be a bird. Think about it, you could fly anywhere you wanted to go. I would fly to Disneyland.
6. My favorite candy bar is a Butterfinger, which is probably why I have a butter-butt. You wanna make friends with me, bring me a Butterfinger and a Diet Coke with a lime and I'm yours forever.
Now I tag 6: Kellye, Carrie, Angela, Hillary, Dani and JoAnn

And the Winner Is...

Angela Cope, you are the winner of my 100 post giveaway. I have your cards all ready to go so I'll get them to you asap. Thanks everyone for leaving me a comment.

Taking More Pictures

Saturday afternoon we headed back over to the Noni Gardens to take more pictures. This time it was Jordann's bridals. Again, I'm pretty rusty, but it was fun just the same. Abbi and Hallie are going to be flower girls in her wedding, so we had them all dressed up in their princess dresses to take a few pictures. Hallie, as always, had her own agenda and was so completly naughty. Oh well, most 2 year olds are like that I guess. We even tried bribery and it didn't work. Jordann looked beautiful in her dress and it was lots of fun.
