While I was blog stalking this morning, I found this you tube video that I thought was really good. The girl on the video is a birthmom and she says it exactly how it is. Make sure to pause my music at the bottom of the page so that you can listen to what she has to say.

Last night Jeff and I were able to go on a much needed date alone together. For Christmas Hallie's birth mom, Jordann, and Chris gave us movie tickets and vouchers for free popcorn and drinks to the Megaplex at Jordan Commons and also a gift card to Ruby River. They also said that part of the gift was to babysit all 3 kids for us. We decided to use everything last night. We wanted to see The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, but it didn't show until 9:30, so we went to see Paul Blart, Mall Cop instead. I must say that we both thought this movie was hillarious. We both laughed through the whole thing. Afterward we enjoyed delicious dessert at Village Inn. The kids had SO much fun at Jordann's. Thanks guys for a great gift. This is just one of my many favorite parts of the movie. "The mind is the only weapon that doesn't need a holster." -Paul Blart.

Lucky to Have Big Sisters
Korver is so lucky to have big sisters. He really likes them, too. Last night I was fixing dinner and had Korver sitting in his high chair. Abbi came in went over and gave Korver a kiss on his head. The little man got a huge smile on his face. Abbi started playing with him and he started laughin hysterically. It was so cute. I am glad my camera was handy so I could get it on video. To get the full effect, make sure to turn down my music at the bottom of the page.

OH! I Like That!!!
This morning when I was doing Hallie's hair, I decided to flip it out. It's just getting long enough that I can start doing more than just the curled under or pigtails "do" that we usually do. In my last post I told you how I have a problem with uneven baby hair. Hallie has had her hair cut in a little bob for about 2 years now, just waiting for all the hair to get one length. I would rather have it like that then let it grow out uneven. Anyway, she loves when I try new things with her hair. When I got it all done she got a huge smile on her face and said, "Oh! I like that hair!" It was so cute and she was so excited. She can't wait to go to preschool and show all her friends.

Making Christmas Candy
I love this tradition probably the very most out of all our holiday traditions. It's fun to get together as girls and make things together. My mom is so good at getting us all together and making sure everyone has fun.
Christmas Party With Teressa and Ashton
Abbi's Grandma Jenny invited up to her house for a Christmas party again this year. It was a lot of fun as always. We had Cafe Rio take-out that was so yummy. We visited and opened presents. Abbi's sister got this cute guitar which she loved.
Game Night
A Date With Dad
Jeff wanted to take the girls to see the Nutcracker, so we got tickets for the 23rd of December for the whole family to go. Hallie was sick and throwing up that day, so I decided to stay home with her and Korver and let Jeff take Abbi on a little date. We had two extra tickets so Jeff called his dad and neice, Aubrey, to go. Abbi was so excited to go. We did her hair in an up-do and put sparkles in it. She said she felt like a princess. She got to wear her new dress that her Grandma Jenny got for her. She looked so pretty.
