For the past 2 years I have hosted a brunch around Mother's day for the special ladies who made me a mom.  I also invite my mom and Jeff's mom and my grandma.  I was worried that the weather wasn't going to cooperate, but it did.  It was windy right before and then a storm moved in right after. 

I love these ladies so much.  Words don't even come close to expressing what they mean to me.

I always love it when I go through the pictures on my camera and find random pictures my kids have taken of themselves.  These were my latest findings:

Hershey Track Meet

I love the time of year when the Hershey Track Meet rolls around.  For those of you who don't know, the Hershey Track Meet is for elementary age students from 4th-6th grades.  Our school district participates in it each year.  I went to a different district as a kid and we didn't do it, but I'm sure glad my kids will be able to participate in it.  Abbi did really well in her race even though she didn't qualify for finals.

 She also did the long jump.

 We lucked out this year.  Last year the spring weather didn't cooperate very well and it rained the day the track meet was held.  This year was beautiful.  The parents sit in the middle of the track and cheer the kids on.  It's a really fun day and I'm proud of Abbi for doing such a great job.

Easter Morning

Easter morning was a great one.  The kids got up "egg"stra early to find the eggs the Easter Bunny had left

 for them.

 It was Lacie's first Easter and I think she thought it was great.

 The Easter Bunny tries to hide eggs in places special for each kid.  Abbi had fun finding the ones that were up high hidden special for her.
