Grandma Jenny gets the kids church clothes every year for Christmas. The kids looked so cute all dressed up in their Sunday best.

Christmas Morning
During all the hustle and bustle of Christmas morning, I didn't get many pictures. We were too busy opening up presents and playing with toys. But I did manage to take a few pictures of each of the kids. Here are my favorites:
Lacie got a Jenny Jump-Up and she loves it. She thought it was so fun to hang and dangle her legs.
Every time I got the camera out to take a picture of Korver he would turn his back to me. Santa brought him a train that goes all by itself, but he wasn't in to having his picture taken while he was playing with it. Jeff got some tools that Korver likes just as much as his daddy. He really liked the tape measure.
Abbi got rollerblades and pads (she already has a helmet.) She was cracking us up. Even though it was freezing cold outside, she wanted to try them out. She got pretty darn good, too.
Hallie got a doll and some clothes for her. She was super excited Christmas morning.
We had a wonderful Christmas this year and got extra spoiled from Santa and our families. We hope you all had a wonderful holiday.

Playing In The Snow
We woke up to a huge snow storm the Tuesday before Christmas. It was supposed to be the last day of school before the Christmas break, but it snowed so much, the school district ended up canceling school. The kids had so much fun playing in it. It was a really heavy and wet snow perfect for building a snowman so that's exactly what they did.
Well, I should say, that's what Abbi did. Hallie got bored and went inside halfway through. I think it turned out really cute and look how proud she is of her new friend.
When I say we got some snow, I mean TONS of snow. Jeff said it was about 16 inches.
Korver loves the snow and wanted to be out with his sisters.
When I was a little girl after playing in the snow my mom would make us hot chocolate and cinnamon toast so that's what I did for my kids and they loved it.

Some Pioneer Fun
This past Wednesday night we went to Abbi's 4th grade program where she and her classmates sang Pioneer songs and did some dances for us. It was really cute.
She got to pull Jeff out of the audience and teach him some dances. They had such a good time and it was fun watching them.
Our Little Gobblins
Halloween this year was lots of fun even though the weather didn't cooperate as much as we would have liked it to. Abbi was a spider, Hallie was a witch and Korver was a cowboy riding a horse.
We got tons of comments from Korver's costume. His legs were the horses legs and then we attached pants to the horse to be the rider's legs. It was pretty funny and he loved it.
Lacie was asleep when we took the picture of the older kids. She was a chicken and was ADORABLE. The kids made out with a bunch of candy, more than they'll ever eat.
Carving Pumpkins and Making Caramel Apples
The Friday before Halloween we carved pumpkins and made caramel apples with my family. It was a fun night. Korver really got into it this year and loved putting his hands in the "guts".
It was fun making the caramel apples. After doing it for so many years, we about have it down to a science.
Abbi, our little sugar addict, had the most fun creating apples. Her favorite part was choosing what to dip them in after she dipped them in caramel. We had Oreo's, Butterfinger and stripped cookies. It was a fun night. I love this time of year.
Field Trip to The Red Barn
I was able to go on a field trip with Hallie to the Red Barn in Santaquin. It was such a fun day for us. My mom took Korver and Lacie so that I could just spend some time with my Hallie. We got to go on a trailer ride out to the pumpkin patch and pick a pumpkin. Hallie chose a really big one that was a little hard for us to pack around, but we managed. After we got back we got donuts for a treat and then we headed back. It was such a fun day and I'm so glad that I got to go with her.
Another Photo Shoot With Lacie
I wanted to have some studio pictures taken of Lacie in her blessing dress so we decided to take her to Photo Works at the University Mall. I am very happy with the way they turned out.
I love the picture of her long blessing dress. When the photographer saw it, she said that she sees a lot of blessing dresses and this one is up there with her favorites.
The day Michelle took our family pictures, Korver was not into it at all. We weren't able to get a good picture with all the kids together, so I got the other kids ready so we could get a good one of them. Korver still wasn't into having his picture taken. He is a naughty naughty two year old that has better things to do than pose for pictures. They were able to get one, though, and I think it is pretty darn cute.
Lacie's Baby Blessing
Lacie's baby blessing was the first weekend in October and it was a lovely day. We couldn't have asked for more perfect weather. My mom made her dress which was gorgeous. My mom is a master seamstress and can make just about anything. Jeff gave Lacie a beautiful blessing and she was such a good baby the whole time. Jeff's dad told me that she was awake the whole time and she just sat and looked at everyone.
I love her face in the picture above. She has been loving her tongue lately and is constantly sticking it out and playing with it. We sure love our little Lacie Gwen, or Lacie Bug, or Lacie Lou (she has lots of nicknames.) She is a great addition to our little family.
Korver's Birthday Party... A Little Late
Korver turned 2 in September and I'm just getting around to blogging about it. Things are nuts around this place so I just haven't had time.
Korv is obsessed with tractors, trucks, cars... basically anything that is motorized. So I made him a tractor cake. Don't let the picture fool you, it looked much better in real life.
He was so funny to watch open presents. He would get really excited and clap his hands and jump around. He got lots of trucks and tractors from my grandparents and Kristen, Wes and Cody. We got him a farm set, basketball hoop, and some tractors. Jeff's parents got him some clothes. My mom and dad got him some cars and a floor mat that has a town on it (you can see him sitting on it in the picture above.) He ended up having so much stuff to play with at the end of the day.
He loved his cake and ice cream.
Michelle got him a little fort that has trucks all over it. It was a huge hit with all of the kids. He loves to go in there and hide and play with his "broom-broom's". Happy Birthday little man. We are glad you had a good birthday.
Family Pictures
Family pictures are always such a stressful time. I dread them. But we needed new ones since we have a new addition in the family. Michelle took them and I love how they turned out.
I am in LOVE with this one of Jeff and Korver.
