This August our family took a trip to Yellowstone. We tagged along with Jeff's entire family (well except for 2 of his 8 brothers and sisters.) The kids had lots of fun.
While we were there, we drove into Cody, Wyoming (or Wyonnie as Abbi calls it) and saw the Buffalo Bill Museum. They were having a little rodeo for the kids so we entered our little buckaroos. Here they are riding the bucking bull (really just a barrel!)
Abbi tried her skills at being a rodeo clown. She got to get inside a barrel and be rolled around by a bull, o.k. well maybe it was just a guy rolling her around.
One of the real live clowns was painting the kids faces. Hallie wasn't too sure about that idea.Abbi needed a little convincing to have it done, but she sure looked cute.
Wait, is that a chipmunk, or is that Abbi? She was so serious in this picture.
Yes that is a leash you see on Hallie. Funny thing is, both Jeff and I swore we would never put one of those things on our kids.... until Hallie came along. It's for safety reasons, right. At first she thought it was cool. But after a couple of days... not so cool.
